Building the Future

Aceros Titán was founded in 1985 in downtown Monterrey, Nuevo León, by two local visionaries and entrepreneurs. The company started out manufacturing annealed wire and stirrups, focusing on the construction sector. The founders’ vision was key to laying the groundwork for what is today a sound and constantly growing company.

In 1993, thanks to an expansion process, Aceros Titán moved its facilities to Colonia Bellavista. This strategic change led to significant growth in production capacity and product availability. The most noteworthy additions include polished wires designed specifically for the industrial sector.

Aceros Titán continued its expansion process, strengthening its infrastructure by adding specialized equipment for manufacturing agricultural and electro-welding products. This growth enabled the company to further diversify its catalogue. In addition, cold rolled wires designed for more demanding markets that require high-precision, high-strength products were introduced.

Aceros Titán made a significant move to the Santa Rosa area in Apodaca, Nuevo León, as part of its growth and expansion strategy.
At this new plant, Aceros Titán added products such as flat bars and mesh for column and beam cages, expanding its product line to sectors that needed more specialized high-strength products.

Aceros Titán began certification of its quality management system under the ISO 9001 standard, which involved a significant commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
It also added new lines of production, such as engineering mesh frameworks, and nails, thus expanding the range of available products.

The company began manufacturing high carbon wires specifically for the automotive sector and the mattress industry. Starting with two production lines, it subsequently increased its capacity to 10 wire-drawing lines for this sector, thanks to significant growth and a focus on satisfying specialized demands.

With a significant investment in technology and modernization, this was the year of installation and startup of a line of state-of-the-art galvanized wires. This type of wire is crucial for applications that require corrosion resistance, which can open up new opportunities in sectors such as construction, automotive, and others that require durability and strength.

Aceros Titán began the manufacturing and market positioning of products made from galvanized wire, such as hinge joint fences, barbed wire, galvanized welded utility mesh, and chain link mesh–an important step in diversification and expansion of the company’s line of products.
